For Fall/Winter 2011 minimalism was the undertone at Giambattista Valli. Usually adorned with feathers and jewels Valli showed a collection that highlighted the designers floral print and focused on the strong grey, black, and yellow palette. The tulip print and ruffled segment of the collection spoke to signature Valli appealing to his die hard customer. The evening gowns at the end of the show were an amazing display of minimal opulence.
